Faith has helped me make really hard choices to feel better and be more safe, and I genuinely hope it may do the same for you, too.

High or Low? Fast or Slow?

Getting what we want and knowing what to do with it often requires a spiritual reset first, where we’re focused on calm and healing and we’re not seeking anything at all, other than peace, wellness, and self-awareness.

On Forgiveness

There’s a reason why trauma survivors (hello, pretty much everyone) have a hard time with forgiveness.

Accountability is Key

It’s not exactly a walk in the park or the most delightful ride, but it also seems like another step in the process that only turns up when we’re ready for it. Faith is funny like that.

On Seeking

Slow down. Deep breaths. Kind words. And if you are so inclined, prayer.

On Conduits

Call it Good, call it God, call it what you want, but it can be available to us all if we are willing to slow down, tune in, take deep breaths, say our prayers, and pay attention.

Good (or God) Gives Us Patience

For all the capabilities of our lightening fast brains, life is terribly slow moving, and only faith has helped me enjoy playing the long game.

Manifestation isn’t about blinking our eyes and magically making a mansion appear. It is about focusing on Good (or God) so hard that we slowly change our brains to see the best in everything, which inevitably brings in more good, more hope, more opportunity, more lessons to learn, and most importantly, more and more faith.

You Can Pick the Sign, But You Can’t Pick the Time

Asking for a sign alleviates the pressure of waiting, searching, looking around, and trying to solve it ourselves. It is an act of working under the assumption that God (or Good) is working on it and will let us know when it is time.

Go With the Flow

I regularly mention the flow state in my writing because it seems like such an important part of the human experience, one which we regularly do not allow ourselves. Our magnificent brains are capable of so much, and therefore we are regularly overdoing it in the brains department.

On Purpose

Once I got the tiniest little bit of faith under my belt, it was like I had unwittingly stepped through a portal to another dimension in the Universe. In this new one, anything was possible. In the one I left behind, almost nothing was.

We Have to Go Where the Good (or God) Lies

Faith is a place to get to know our true selves. There is no punishment here, only valuable lessons learned, resilience to earn, and new opportunities to uncover. The only thing I would encourage you to do is to always, always, always go where the Good (or God) lies.

Not Everyone Will Join Us On This Path

Not everyone will join us on this path. At least not to begin with. But, if we stay committed, perhaps we can have faith that our lives may some day be a beacon for others, should they choose to leave the Dark Side themselves and join us in the light. May the Force be with them.

I looked up the definition of the word patient, and was a little shocked, annoyed, and amused that the root of the word comes from Latin word pati, which basically means to suffer.

Hilarious. For some reason, this is hilarious.
