Everything Happens for a Reason, My BLEEP
Saying Everything happens for a reason to anyone who has lost a loved one or gone through heartbreak recently is like asking to get your teeth punched in. It’s just plain ill advised.
We Don’t Have to Maintain the Lie
All we have to do is admit that we are imperfect, release our grip on the lie that we have it all figured out, put our hands together, ask for help, and take a lot of deep breaths while we wait and see what happens.
Easy, right?
I Don’t Know What’s Going to Happen Next - And You Don’t Have to Either
One thing I have had to admit and accept as I have experimented with finding faith - and I mean deeply accept - is the simple and disturbing fact that I don’t know what’s going to happen next.
Trust the Paradox
All the gurus of spirituality or self-help say this about the spiritual plane:
Do less, get more.
Pray more, do less, get more.
Have faith, let go, get more.
These are simple equations that none of us seem to trust.
